Scholarships Available At The Australian National University

Australian National University is a world-leading university in Australia’s capital city, Canberra. It is one of the world’s leading centers for education and research. It is ranked 1 in Australia and 22nd in the world (QS World University Ranking 2016-17). 

ANU is consistently ranked among the world’s best universities. The university attracts lots of international students from around the world, and many graduates go on to take up leadership positions in renowned organizations and government offices at home and abroad. 

ANU collaborates with the government, private sector, and other research institutes to explore, investigate, and develop ideas and solutions to the major issues facing Australian society and the world. 

Few Bhutanese students go there every year on scholarships, and Canberra as a destination is gaining popularity among most Bhutanese.

The Australian National University offers the Chancellor’s International Scholarships for international students. The scholarship is valued at more than $4 million and is awarded to 200 high-caliber international students wishing to study at Australia’s No. 1 University in semester 1, 2021.

To simplify the application process, students do not need to apply separately for the scholarships. They will be automatically considered for any of the scholarships that you are eligible for.

Scholarships available are:

  •       ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship – undergraduate coursework (all regions)

            25% scholarships valued at $25,000 each

  •       ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship – postgraduate coursework (all regions)

            75% scholarships valued at $15,000 each 

  •       ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship (South Asia)

            50 scholarships valued at $25,000 each.

  •       ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship – International Baccalaureate (all regions)

            10 scholarships valued at $20,000 each.

Scholarship Benefits

A Chancellor’s International Scholarship from ANU will:

  •   Reduce the student’s tuition fee amount for one year.
  •       Students will get access to a world-class education at Australia’s #1 university.
  •       Allows students to concentrate more on their studies and lay the foundation for academic success.

Applying to ANU is free for 2021 Entry

The application fee is waived to make it easier for the students to take the first step towards studying at Australia’s top University. Application fees for semester 2, 2021, are also waived.
