Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship

Deakin recognises students with consistently high academic performance and the potential to make a leading contribution to the university and its communities. 

Successful students will be required to participate in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program. Unsuccessful applicants of the Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship will automatically be considered for the Deakin International Scholarship.

This scholarship is available for the duration of the course.

  • Covers all your tuition fees or 50% of your tuition fees.
  • Priority place for on-campus accommodation (at own cost and subject to availability).

Applicants must:

  • Be a prospective international student for a coursework degree at Deakin University.
  • Be eligible to study at Deakin University.
  • Have achieved an 85% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.


Deakin International Scholarship

Unsuccessful applicants of the Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship will automatically be considered for the Deakin International Scholarship.

This scholarship is available for the duration of your course.

25% of your student contributions (tuition fees)

Applicants must:

  • Be a prospective international student for a coursework degree at Deakin University.
  • Be eligible to study at Deakin University.
  • Have achieved a 65% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.



Deakin International Merit 10% Bursary

Deakin is offering a 10% bursary to assist students in covering their university fees and all associated study costs.

This scholarship is available for the entire duration of the course.


10% of the total indicative tuition fee stated on your letter of offer.

To be eligible, all selection criteria below must be met:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of South Asian countries*.
  • The Applicant should be residing in South Asia (as applicable) at the time of application.
  • Applicants should be applying through a Deakin authorized agent based in South Asia* (as applicable).
  • Applicants should meet the following academic eligibility criteria.

Academic eligibility criteria

  • Have an overall score between 65-69% in an undergraduate degree when applying for a postgraduate program.

OR

  • An overall score between 65-69.9% in the 12th standard (as specified by NOOSR) when applying for an undergraduate program.


Deakin International Meritorious 20% Scholarship

Deakin offers a 20% scholarship to help students cover university fees and all study-related costs throughout the entire duration of their course.

The scholarship covers 20% of the total indicative tuition fee stated on your letter of offer. 

To be eligible, all selection criteria below must be met:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of South Asian countries*
  • Applicant should be residing in South Asia* (as applicable) at the time of application
  • Applicant should be applying through a Deakin authorized agent based in South Asia* (as applicable)
  • The applicant should meet the following academic eligibility criteria.

Academic eligibility criteria

  • Have an overall score between 70%-74.9% in an undergraduate degree when applying for a postgraduate program.
  • Overall score between 70%-74.9% in the 12th standard (as specified by NOOSR) when applying for an undergraduate program.


Deakin International Meritorious 25% Scholarship

Deakin is offering a 25% scholarship to assist students in paying for their university fees and all study costs.

The 25% scholarship is available for the entire duration of the course and covers the total indicative tuition fee mentioned in the letter of offer. 

 

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of South Asian countries* (as applicable)
  • The applicant should be residing in South Asian countries* (as applicable)
  • The applicant should be applying through any Deakin authorized agent based in South Asia* (as applicable).

Academic eligibility criteria

  • Possess an overall score of 75% and above in an undergraduate degree when applying for a postgraduate program. 
  • Have an overall score of 75% and above in the 12th standard (as specified by NOOSR) when applying for an undergraduate program.
