Edith Cowan University is one of the universities in Australia and is located in Perth, Western Australia. It has three campuses, namely Joondalup campus, Mount Lawley Campus and South West Campus. Here is the list of scholarships that ECU provides for semester 2,2020:

  1. International Onshore Scholarship (open and closes-01/06/2020 till 31/07/2020)

The International Onshore Scholarship recognises the connection international students have to Australian studies. It is open to all nationalities who are currently studying at an Australian education institution onshore in Australia.

The scholarship offers up to a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of their course at ECU.

Eligibility

  •   Each applicant must be an international student who has studied or is studying one of the qualifying programs and receives an offer to study a course at ECU in Semester 2, 2020. 
  • Open to packaged pathway students and future students only (not current ECU students).
  • Students who meet the standard course entry requirements with their packaged pathway program in Semester 2, 2020, are eligible.
  • Available for entry into selected undergraduate and postgraduate course studies onshore as listed in the eligibility guidelines.
  • Scholarship recipients will receive financial assistance amounting to a 20% reduction of their tuition fees for the duration of their ECU course.


  1. Welcome to ECU online Scholarship

The Welcome to ECU Online Scholarship offers students the opportunity to commence their online studies with ECU, intending to transition to on-campus study in 2021 and beyond.

This scholarship supports students who are currently unable to travel to Perth due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The scholarship offers up to a 30% reduction in tuition fees for semester 2, 2020.

 Eligibility

  • Open to prospective offshore international students (not current students) who receive an offer to study an ECU course, commencing study online in Semester 2, 2020.
  • Available for select courses as listed in the eligibility guidelines.
  • Recipients will receive financial assistance amounting to up to 30% off their tuition fees for Semester 2, 2020 only.
  • Applicants are eligible to apply for other scholarships if they commence on campus in 2021.


  1. International Accommodation Bursary

The International Accommodation Bursary will provide 22 weeks of accommodation at the ECU Mount Lawley Student Village, at a reduced rate of 50% to all new international students who study on campus at ECU in semester 2, 2020.

Eligibility

  • Open to future international students who commence study in Semester 2, 2020, on campus at either ECU Joondalup or ECU Mount Lawley.
  • A 50% reduction in accommodation fees at the ECU Student Village Mount Lawley for stays until 1 December 2020.
  • Available on a first-come, first-served basis for rooms in a 5 to 6-bedroom shared apartment.
  • The bursary will be awarded to new ECU applicants only and is available to the first 100 eligible applicants who accept their course offers between June 1, 2020, and July 31, 2020.
